Measuring the impact of media Awareness on the knowledge, attitudes and behaviours of the public in the environmental field

Abstract

Based on the importance of social marketing programs and campaigns, Egypt is facing a lot of environmental challenges like different types of pollution and the shortage in people awareness of how to keep and maintain the natural resources in which it needs huge communication efforts to raise the awareness among people and decision makers.
So this study examines the role of communication programs in convincing people who live in Al-Qaluobia governorate to safely transfer the lead foundries outside in a free industrial area   by measuring the differences in the levels of knowledge , attitudes and behaviors through intermediate demographic , social , psychological variables
