Journal Objectives:

1. Developing media research and establishing a scientific underpinning for the enhancement of Egyptian and Arab media outlets.
2. Encouraging researchers to conduct new well-founded additions related to media research in terms of areas, topics, approaches, methods and theoretical frameworks.
3. Contributing to reach serious scientific visions of problems related to media and social realities locally and regionally.
4. Connecting media researchers with developments and progress in media and communication studies in the world and providing the appropriate opportunity to follow-up.

Publication Code:

1. The proposed study should be approved by one specialized professional reference to determine the validity of study for publication through Blind Review.
2. Researches accepted in Arabic, English and French, accompanied with an abstract of at least one documented page, in a language other than the tongue of the paper itself.
3. Proposed papers should not exceed 40 pages of A4 size.
4. Three printed copies of the paper should be presented plus one more soft upload http://ejsc.journals.ekb.eg. Title of the research and name of the researcher should be written on standalone pages, each submitted with a copy of the paper. Footnotes are not allowed, instead, references should be hinted at throughout the research text with a full citation list at the end of paper. The paper should be written on an “IBM” computer with a simplified Arabic Font using the size of “14”.
5. The Journal is not committed to send back unaccepted papers, also, references reports are not accessible by applicants with rejected papers.
6. What’s published in the journal is not necessarily expressing its own vision, instead of it represents the views of the authors.
7. Scientific articles by specialized professors are most welcome, as well as the contributions of researchers to review books, scientific theses and modern articles in Arabic, English and French.

Publication Language:

This Journal seeks to enrich the domain of media research, Therefore it is to be issued in Arabic, English and French.

Publication ethics:

1. Commitment to scientific integrity (not to counterfeit, alter, or imitate any procedure, idea, or result in the research).
2. Full commitment to respect intellectual property and the attribution of information, ideas and opinions to their true authors.
3. Accurate documentation of the references without stealing scientific rights of others regarding the references already referred to by the researcher, beside adherence to the accepted scientific rules in this context.
4. Accuracy in all stages of research or study.
5. Objectivity: (the deprivation of personal passions and inclinations in visions, judgments and conclusions).
6. Integrity (not subject to special interests). Disclosure and transparency.

To pay these fees,

• Egyptian researchers should get the Fawry Code from the academic journals’ secretaries.
• Arab researchers residing in Egypt should obtain the payment permission from Ms Yasmine Hemdan in the private funds department located in the faculty’s ground floor before heading to the banks to pay.
