Aims and Scope

Vision:

To be a pioneering communication periodical in all Arab countries as a confirmation to the leadership of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University and its uniqueness among other communication faculties.

Mission:

Publishing scientific peer-reviewed research in accordance with the periodical’s publishing rules, as well as enriching communication research.

Objectives:

  1. Developing research studies in the media field and establishing a scientific basis for them in Egypt and the Arab world.
  2. Encouraging researchers to add original research themes, methodologies and theoretical frameworks to the communication field.
  3. Contributing to finding scientific solutions for media and society-related problems, locally and regionally.
  4. Linking communication researchers to the recent developments in media and communication studies, and offering them the opportunity to follow up with these developments.

Themes and topics:

The periodical publishes studies that belong to the media and communication fields and publishes scholars’ research studies from Egypt and abroad. It aims to publish the most recent research studies in media and communication which deal with media

related issues and problems. It also aims at encouraging scholars to publish research studies in communication and media. Research studies are accepted in Arabic and English.
