With the possibility to identify research problems based on observation, the researcher noticed that despite the importance of media activities in the educational system, the interest in preparing educational media specialists who supervise the practice of media activities in the different educational stages are insufficient.
Through the researcher's literature review of this research area, he found that there is a dearth of media literacy studies (within the limits of the researcher's knowledge) that deal with the role of educational media, media literacy and the development of effective communication skills among media students in the Faculties of Specific Education. However, no study was found combining these different variables highlighted by the researcher.
Based on the above, the research problem can be identified in the following question: What is the role of educational media in developing effective communication skills among university students of specific education?
