Abstract

As a result of the qualitative changes witnessed in the educational context during the last two decades, the educational media specialist has been placed in front of new roles and responsibilities, for which there is no way to succeed in carrying them out efficiently, except through a continuous growth in skills, knowledge, trends and values, as the educational media specialist is now facing many challenges, more than ever before,  as a result of increased knowledge, its accumulation, and increased educational challenges and the emergence of some negative aspects in society, and the topics broadcast by the media in their programs that may represent some conflict with societal values. In light of the above, the current research problem is demonstrated in the main question: What are the requirements for the professional development of the educational media specialist’s performance in accordance with the quality and accreditation standards?
