The effect of organizational culture on the production of the public relations to the press release

Abstract

The study aimed to describe the patterns of organizational culture in the organizations operating in Egypt, and to monitor the rate of use and methods of preparing and producing press releases in these organizations, and to reveal the governing criteria for the selection of organizations for the form and content of the press releases they issue. The study relied on the competing values ​​model and the competing values ​​framework as two theoretical frameworks for the study. A questionnaire form was also used To collect the data of the study, the study reached a number of results as follows: The study proved that the members of the supervisory board of the institution under study do not understand what it is or the concept of organizational culture, and that the success of any organization depends on the keenness of senior management and actors in adopting an institutional culture that leads to coexistence between the two internal environments And external, and the existence of a direct and significant correlation between the dimensions of organizational culture and performance development.
