Persuasive rhetorical strategies for the issue of climate change in news sites

Abstract

The increasing interest of world public opinion in environmental issues and the need to protect the earth from climate change, as Egypt resorted to hosting the Climate Summit and this conference contributed to an effective role in presenting many environmentally friendly machines and productions and the difference in culture between the countries of the world contributed to the transfer .
Here, we emphasize that the media has a key role in confronting climate change issues, through the transfer of knowledge of the phenomenon, mechanisms of adaptation to it, work on research to find solutions to it, and encourage scientific research to reach new innovative results to confront climate change. Therefore, this study sought to reveal the rhetorical persuasive strategies used in the issue of climate change in news sites to reduce the damage of climate change and discover ways to address this collective danger, and the study reached a set of results, the most important of which is the use of all Egyptian newspaper sites grooming of various kinds by 100%, as newspaper sites were interested in the news strategy and the strategy of participation of interest groups more than others, and neglected the strategy of creating a response to some extent, and the news strategy appeared in its support for projects and environmentally friendly ideas to reduce climate damage.
