Media normalization of Israeli news sites directed in Arabic :

Abstract

The study sought to try to understand the electronic media normalization of Egyptian affairs by identifying how the media dealt with Egyptian topics and issues (The New Republic) on Israeli news websites directed in the Arabic language (Times of Israel - I24News) from the Israeli perspective and the extent of its impact on the Egyptian public, and it used the media survey method. And the comparative approach, and it was applied with the two tools of content analysis and the questionnaire, and the study concluded a number of results that can be summarized as follows:
- The issues dealt with in the study sites were as follows: Egypt's role in supporting the Palestinian cause to revive peace and rebuild Gaza. One of the most prominent Egyptian topics dealt with in the study sites was - Economic and trade relations between Egypt and Israel - Israel's normalization with Egypt and the Arab countries amid pure American sponsorship and great Western welcome and response A limited Arab between supporters and opponents because of its history and its place in the Arab national memory. These agreements are considered a geopolitical turning point in reformulating alliances in the region and adding different new dimensions to the nature of the Arab-Israeli conflict
Egypt's interest in providing energy, and this came within the framework of the Green Corridor Initiative project in Egypt. The two signatories also highlighted their interest in Egypt's economic position and Egypt's fight against extremist groups in the Sinai Peninsula and its development
