Abstract

Digital marketing is one of the most important types of marketing, through which it is possible to build deeper social relationships with the audience, and helps in reading the behavior of the masses in interaction, with what is published negatively or positively through the tools provided by the new media, especially social networking sites.
The subject of sustainable development has received wide attention from the international community and decision-makers, and sustainability has become a basic requirement in various political, economic, social, and environmental fields. It has been the focus of debate on international, regional, and local agendas since the late last century.
The research focused on monitoring the digital marketing strategies of the Egyptian government's efforts and its role in supporting sustainable development plans. The results of the research concluded that the Egyptian government uses websites and social networking pages as traditional media platforms through which it broadcasts its media messages, without enjoying the advantages of digital marketing, whose most important features are interaction with the public and reaching a target audience, as these platforms have many smart digital tools that are the way the marketer can increase the likelihood of success of his digital marketing strategies.
