Abstract

This study seeks to “explore, monitor and analyze the content contained in the determinants adopted by organizations to control and modify their organizational behavior towards interest groups dealing with them (clients, employees, shareholders, investors, government agencies), in order to identify the most important topics covered by these determinants and the ethical values ​​that emerge. And the behaviors that are emphasized by applying to a sample of local and international organizations operating in the United Arab Emirates in various fields of activity to identify aspects of agreement and differences between these determinants at the local and international levels according to the diversity of the organizational cultures of these institutions. The most important ethical values ​​highlighted by the local institutions under study were commitment to Islamic values, respect for heritage, community service, social responsibility, environmental protection and human rights, in addition to excellence, quality of service, responsibility and integrity. The ethical values ​​adopted by international institutions were innovation, equal opportunity, critical thinking, economic feasibility, meeting market needs, entrepreneurship, environmental responsibility and human rights. The value of respecting cultural diversity is among the most important values ​​affirmed by both local and international institutions.
