Abstract

The study problem can be identified in the following question: To what extent does a program based on simplifying journalistic arts in children's environmental magazines contribute to acquiring the concept of sustainable development for ordinary children and those with mild intellectual disabilities? The study found: that the program was effective by applying it to children with mild and normal intellectual disabilities alike. The simplification of knowledge in the journalistic arts presented in the magazine my environment, where information on environmental conservation in general and knowledge related to the concept of sustainable development among ordinary children and those with mild intellectual disability had a role in that. The impact of the program on boys and girls alike.
