Abstract

the study problem and its main goal was to reveal the relationship of exposure of Egyptians at home and abroad Violence and terrorism through electronic newspapers and news sites
The main results:
-The most important topics of violence and terrorism followed by the study sample are the repeated Sinai bombings, ISIS, sectarian strife incidents, violence in schools, against women, and political protests.
-The high rate of participation and interaction with published events, especially with the benefit of the interactive and multimedia elements in newspapers and news sites.
-There are statistically significant differences between males and females in exposure to incidents of violence and terrorism in newspapers and news sites in favor of males.
-The existence of statistically significant differences between Egyptians inside and outside Egypt in exposure to incidents of violence and terrorism in newspapers and news sites in favor of residents abroad.
-There are no statistically significant differences between males and females in the level of anxiety erasing the future.
-Anxiety increases with the rise in the level of education.
-People with high incomes and business owners have a high level of anxiety over their investments and businesses at home.
