Abstract

Through the interest in covering the 2016 US presidential elections, the process of electing a new president other than Barack Obama :
-The three Arabic-language satellite news sites of the study sample (BBC Arabic, Russia Today, and Alhurra America) relied heavily on news reports in presenting their news, which gives them the opportunity to present in-depth details and backgrounds about the 2016 US presidential elections, and in that they are similar.
-- The three Arabic-language satellite news sites, the study sample, benefited from the interaction offered by the new media, as these sites are interested in publishing their news on social media sites and monitoring the rates of participation and interaction of users .
 -The most important societal files that were dealt with in the news of the 2016 US presidential elections were, in the first order the political file by 66.2%, the economic file came in second order by 27.3%, and the security file came in the third order by 19.8%. The religious file came in fourth place by 18.8.
