Abstract

The study problem can be formulated in the form of a major question: What is the role that citizen journalism plays in promoting the political culture of Egyptian youth through the credibility of its handling of Arab conflict issues?
Through the research, several results were reached, the most important of which are:
- The respondents who are regularly exposed to citizen journalism are more likely to increase their political culture towards conflict issues in the Arab world through their exposure to the contents of citizen journalism with a higher average than the respondents who are not exposed regularly.
- The greater the degree of follow-up of the events of the Arab conflict on citizen journalism media, the greater the confidence in what these media offer. The higher the exposure rate, the greater the level of confidence and influence over these sources.
The most important Arab conflicts that young people are interested in following these days came from the share of (the war on terror) by 39.8%, of course, given what Egypt is facing in terms of the war against terrorism and the terrorist events and operations that Egypt faces by all means, the people and the army, and the latest news of the case came The Palestinian population has a very weak rate of less than 1%. The biggest concern and conflicts that have taken a great deal of attention in public opinion, youth and the media, is the war on terrorism of all kinds.
