The current study considered the necessity to confront this art by investigating the significance of the communicative message carried by the cartoons related to violence and conflicts in the Middle East region, in order to search for the implicit connotations to reach the ideological pattern of those drawings, based on the graphic treatment, that is, on the significance of the iconic connotations inherent in the shapes and colors. Symbols and lines that constitute its elements and components, i.e. what the drawings want to convey to the recipient.
These cartoons were able to provide an accurate description of the reality of the living situation in the Middle East region, and indicated a strategic viewpoint that there are international and regional stakes for influence and control over the wealth of that region, for they are the ones who move the strings of the scene since the internal regional conflicts
The multiplicity of color spaces used in the drawings, the sample of the study, so the use of color gradients is appropriate with the meaning that the pictures perform, even if they are dominated by the intensity of the black and red colors, to reflect a color and then semantic paradox, represented in the reality of the bloody and dark future of the Middle East region
The cartoons reflected the reality of what is happening on the land of Syria, Yemen and Iraq in terms of internal political struggle over political power and external ambitions, and the catastrophic and humanitarian conditions that resulted from them, including the great destruction of homes, service facilities and infrastructure.
