University Students' use of health websites and health applications in smart phones and its relation to their level of health knowledge.

Abstract

The study problem crystallized into the following main question:
What is the relationship between university students ’exposure to electronic health websites and health applications via smart phones to their level of health knowledge?
Exposure of the sample members to electronic health websites came in the first place with a rate of 54.5%, followed by the non-exposure of the sample members to electronic health websites in the second place, at 45.5%, while the exposure of the sample members to health applications with smart phones came in the first place with a rate of 68.5%, followed by the lack of exposure of the sample members to health applications. In smart phones, it ranked second, with a percentage of 31.5%.
The health pages attached to the blogs came at the forefront of the health electronic websites that the sample members are exposed to with a rate of 27.5%, followed by private health sites with a percentage of 20%, then came in the third place the Saudi Ministry of Health website with a rate of 12%, then came the World Health Organization website in Rank last at 9%.
