Abstract

The problem of the study is determined in identifying the role that Egyptian electronic newspapers play in confronting the phenomenon of terrorism through polling a sample of the public on the extent of the influence of the media messages provided by electronic newspapers in spreading knowledge, forming attitudes and influencing behavioural patterns towards terrorism within the framework of spreading awareness of the dangers of terrorism and its negative effects on society.
The results of the study resulted in a set of indicators regarding the reliance of the respondents on electronic newspapers in general and the extent of their dependence on them with regard to the issue of terrorism.
