Abstract

This study aims to monitor and explain the relationship between Saudi women's access to health information from government websites, represented by the Saudi Ministry of Health, and their attitudes toward the ministry's performance in providing health information and services to citizens, especially Saudi women. The results indicated a high degree of use by the respondents of the Saudi Ministry of Health website to seek information, and the goal of disease prevention came at the forefront of the goals of Saudi women seeking health information, followed by health and medical education in general. The fact that the website provides official and reliable information was the main reason for the respondents seeking health information from the Ministry of Health website. The results also indicated a high degree of satisfaction of the respondents with the information and services provided through the Ministry of Health website. The study confirmed the existence of a correlation between the rate of respondents seeking health information and their attitude towards the performance of the Ministry of Health. There is a correlation between the strategies of the respondents seeking health information and the attitude towards the performance of the Ministry of Health, and there is a correlation between the motives of the respondents seeking health information and the strategies of seeking information.
