The role of digital marketing for the Egyptian Genome Project in shaping health awareness among the public: An analytical and field study

Abstract

                       
This study aims to identify the role of digital marketing for the Egyptian Genome Project in shaping health awareness among the public, as this project is one of the most prominent and largest national projects in the health sector, which the Egyptian state pays great attention to in light of the state's endeavor to achieve sustainable development, and develop and grow the health sector.
This study belongs to descriptive studies, and it relied on the survey method with its analytical and field aspects, as the analytical study relies on the use of a content analysis form to analyze the marketing content of social media sites, for the Egyptian Genome page on Facebook platform, in the period from (1/11/2023) to (1/11/2024).
The field study also relied on using investigative journalism on a sample of the public, amounting to (400) individuals, to reveal the extent of their awareness of the Egypt Genome Project and its impact on their health behavior.
The study results concluded the importance of using digital and traditional media more effectively in promoting the Egyptian Genome Project, in light of the effects of advertising results. It also concluded the importance of their presence in measuring awareness levels, especially public awareness, and analyzing them periodically, and the extent of the need to develop communication lines and community awareness of national projects of a scientific nature. The most prominent results are the trend towards the role through which social media can be used in general in promoting health awareness, which is what we produce from uses in health awareness campaigns at the local and global levels.
