The aim of this research is to identify the extent to which university youth dependence on influencers in the health field through social media to develop their health awareness, what are the motives for depending on them, and the extent of the credibility of the content they presented,In addition to monitoring the most important effects resulting from the respondents dependence on the content of influencers in the health field through social media platforms, and how the opinions and information of influencers affected the formation of health behaviors and raising the degree of health education among university youth by conducting a field study on 500 members of university youth who follow social media influencers in the health field. The results found that the largest percentage of the research sample, 74.4%, used social networking sites to follow influencers in the health field on a moderate degree, and that the degree of respondents dependence on influencer’s pages for getting information in the health field was high by 44.4%,and the healthy eating habits topped the contents that the respondents preferred to follow through their pages with a percentage of 75.8%. As for the elements of credibility of influencers in the health field through social media, it was found that the attractiveness element came in first place with a percentage of 49%, followed by the confidence and experience elements with very close percentages 45.2%,44%, respectively. As for the effects resulting from depending on the content of influencers in the health field, the results showed that cognitive effects came in first place with a rate of 64%,followed by behavioral effects with a rate of 49.6%, then affective effects with a rate of 45.2%. The results also indicated an increase in the level of health awareness among the respondents by 68.8%, followed by an average rate of 24.2%, which indicates the great influence of the influencers and the health content that presented by them through their pages in developing health awareness among the study’s respondents.
