Media treatment of the contents of the “New Beginning for Human Development” initiative and its impact on the quality of life of citizens in light of the requirements of the new republic 2030 AD

Abstract

The study seeks to reveal the importance of media treatment of the contents of the "New Beginning for Human Building" initiative and the extent of its ability to convince viewers to participate in it and benefit from it, which will benefit in improving their quality of life in line with the philosophy of society and its future aspirations in light of the requirements of the new republic. The study relied on the survey method with its analytical and field aspects; To monitor and analyze the media coverage of the “New Beginning” initiative content in traditional and modern media outlets, represented by: (satellite channels, radio stations, social networking sites, electronic newspapers) over four months. The total media materials analyzed amounted to (772) materials, in addition to surveying a sample of Egyptian citizens; to identify the impact of media coverage and the extent of benefit from the initiative’s services, The field study tools were applied electronically and on paper to a simple random sample of (600) respondents in seven different governorates. The study concluded with several results, the most important of which are:
At the theoretical level, a proposed philosophical model "MCR" was developed to explain and analyze the methods and ways of media treatment of the initiative's contents, while the analytical results revealed the achievement of the element of "media prominence", through the intensive and prominent focus on the initiative's topics and services, and giving it media weight, as each of the following varied: (structural, auxiliary, technical elements and means of highlighting) from one medium to another This was reflected in the field results, which showed a positive correlation between the media treatment of the initiative’s contents and both the quality of life levels of citizens and their conviction of the initiative’s goals and foundations.
In a related context, the results showed complete homogeneity between the average scores of citizens’ responses to the quality of life scale, in addition to the absence of statistically significant differences between those averages according to all demographic variables with the exception of the “age status” variable.
