Abstract

The study sought to identify the use of artificial intelligence applications in designing websites (news) and their impact on increasing readability, by applying it to a sample of the audience, numbering (400) students and graduates, and a sample of professionals working in news websites, the study sample, numbering (79) professionals, with the aim of exploring the role of artificial intelligence applications in improving website design, and the reflection of this on increasing readability by the audience on those websites. The study used the descriptive approach and tools represented in designing a questionnaire form to collect study data.
The results of the study revealed that improving the readership of content depends largely on how the content is presented, which reflects the importance of integrating artificial intelligence into editorial strategies. It also revealed the existence of statistically significant differences between the public’s tendency towards news websites employing artificial intelligence applications in designing “news” websites and increasing their readership.
The study recommended working on adopting modern trends related to the design processes of websites by those in charge and responsible for design and production processes, in order to identify the best developments in the field of design using artificial intelligence applications.
