The impact of using artificial intelligence tools in directing the behavior of social media users

Abstract

The penetration of artificial intelligence tools into the thoughts of users of social networking sites has spread, with the increase in advertisements and publications suggested by websites when logging in to them or while users interact within them. It also appears that through these sites sending messages from users’ e-mail, which contain topics of interest, and they search for it, from this standpoint, this study aimed to: Identify the impact of using artificial intelligence tools in directing the behavior of users of social networking sites, in light of the challenges facing website owners when using artificial intelligence tools, and the risks resulting from directing the behavior of users of those sites through artificial intelligence, The study used a media survey, descriptive and quantitative statistical methods, and an electronic questionnaire form, and relied on the theory of hyperrealism and the dissemination of new ideas. It reached a set of results about the impact of using artificial intelligence tools on social media platforms, indicating that there is a high level of agreement on the danger of using social media. Artificial intelligence tools are because of their negative impact on the behavior of society.
