The relationship between youth use of digital media and enhancing the values ​​of community participation within the framework of Egypt's Vision 2030: "A field and analytical study"

Abstract

"This study aimed to explore the level of enhancement of digital media through artificial intelligence applications for community participation values within the framework of Egypt's Vision 2030. It also examined the positive impact of utilizing digital media (Facebook) in enhancing community participation values among youth, based on the Uses and Gratifications Theory, The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach, applying a questionnaire to a purposive sample of 200 university students from practical and theoretical colleges, and 30 faculty members. The questionnaire consisted of three axes to identify means of enhancing community participation values among youth through digital media The study analyzed the relationship between digital media's role and youth community participation in achieving Egypt's Vision 2030, as well as the content analysis of the "Decent Life" initiative's official Facebook page from August to October 2024,
The results showed significant support from youth and faculty members towards enhancing community participation values through digital media within Egypt's Vision 2030 framework. The study recommends integrating digital media into planning and development processes and developing future curricula to include student activities that promote community participation values, considering media as an effective communication tool
