Strategies for developing environmental media in light of Egypt’s Vision 2030 from the point of view of communicators: A prospective study

This study seeks to identify the visions of those responsible for communicating in building integrated strategies for developing environmental media. And belongs to future studies that rely on the forward-looking approach, & aims to analyze, evaluate & anticipate future scenarios, in addition to the survey approach, both descriptive & analytical, to collect data & provide in-depth analysis. The results of the study & possible scenarios that you will reach using reach using a questionnaire with the communicators. This study is applied to a convenience Purposive Sample of 60 respondents from environmental media workers in media institutions in Egypt, to identify their vision of how to evaluate the current environmental media landscape to come up with possible scenarios that would work to develop environmental media & mechanisms for dealing with environmental & climate issues & problems that preoccupy global public opinion. The study concluded that the optimistic reform or creative scenario prevailed among the study sample (to a large degree) at a rate exceeding more than half of the number of respondents. The respondents expected that it would increase the information aspect on environmental media issues, & thus provide media institutions with more information about the environmental problems facing the country. Mechanisms to improve the economic factor of media institutions in developing environmental media content. The results showed that interest in media topics on environmental issues is limited & may be limited only during climate & environment conferences only.
