The green economy has emerged as a response to many global crises, and generally aims to achieve sustainable economic development by implementing many environmentally friendly projects and using new technologies in the fields of renewable and clean energies. It calls for converting already existing sectors to the green economy pattern, and changing consumption patterns. Unsustainable, which works to create new job opportunities with the aim of reducing poverty, in addition to reducing the intensity of energy use and resource consumption and production. In light of Egypt's strategy to move forward in activating sustainable development mechanisms and tools, Egypt has been an African model in the field of transition towards a green economy through many projects, the most important of which are the Benban solar power station, the establishment of the Dabaa nuclear station, and green hydrogen production projects. Green hydrogen in Egypt receives great attention. Especially with the availability of renewable energy potential, according to the Egyptian energy strategy, which aims to reach the contribution of renewable energy to about 42% of the total electrical energy produced by the year 2035. The Sustainable Development Strategy: Egypt Vision 2030 represents an essential step in the comprehensive development process in Egypt that links the present with the future. The strategy adopted the concept of sustainable development as a general framework intended to improve the quality of life at the present time without prejudice to the rights of future generations to a better life. Hence, the concept is based The development adopted by the strategy has three main dimensions, including the economic dimension, the social dimension, and the environmental dimension. Development, in order to be achieved, requires work, science, and knowledge from citizens and decision-makers alike, and here the important role played by the media appears in disseminating knowledge that contributes to creating the social climate and environmental awareness that supports sustainable development.
