The study aimed to monitor and analyze the media treatment of climate change issues in Egyptian newspapers. It is considered descriptive research, relied on the survey method, and it reached a number of general results, which can be reviewed as follows: - The most prominent topics in this media treatment were, in order: manifestations of climate change, projects to reduce risks, conferences, meetings and forums, warnings, causes of climate change, agreements and pledges, solutions, proposals and initiatives, scientific programs and studies, demonstrations and lawsuits.
The press news came at the top of the journalistic arts and templates used in media treatment, then the press report, the press article, and the investigation. The internal pages ranked first on the press material place, then the first page. The bottom of the page ranked first, then the middle of the page, and the top of the page. Broad titles ranked first in the factors of prominence and attraction in media treatment, then images, frames/dividers, and colours.
