Abstract

The idea and subject of the study crystallize in identifying the characteristics, roles, and characteristics of the presence of the active forces supporting and rejecting the war within the news stories in covering the causes and events of the discourse of the Seventh Gaza War in the two sites of the study, and monitoring and analyzing the mechanisms for employing the information and statements provided by these forces within the structures of the news stories, and identifying the nature of The justifications provided, the paths of proof, and the frames of reference relied upon by the various active forces supporting the parties to the conflict in the Gaza War under study, which are used to monitor and describe the events, and the impact of this in directing news coverage towards the discourse of the Seventh Gaza War (Al-Aqsa Flood/Iron Swords), and the limits of agreement and disagreement between The location of the study and its justifications
The study concluded that there is a discrepancy in the style of news coverage of the Cairo News website and the CNN Arabic website, which expresses the central conclusion of this study, and how to employ active forces within news texts related to covering conflict situations and events, represented by directing coverage within news stories through the intentional selection of sources belonging to the parties to the war, and through employing Statements of active forces and the sequence of events within the structure of news stories.
