Abstract

The research aims to identify the most prominent motives for Iraqi women’s exposure to satellite cooking programs and channels, and to identify the most prominent types of foods and foods, their types, and the international schools from which Iraqi women learned these foods, in addition to reaching the most important satisfactions achieved, by starting from the hypotheses of the theory of uses and satisfactions By following the survey method; A survey sheet was distributed among a multi-stage sample of (313) respondents in the central city of Baghdad.The results showed that the most important motivations and reasons for women following (I have free time to spend watching these programs), while the most prominent foods and cooking schools were, respectively, (appetizers and salads of all kinds) and (the Turkish school).The results also showed the validity of the research hypotheses.
