The Image of Arab in foreign broadcast programs:

Abstract

This study aims to learn about the trends of foreign satellite channels talk shows from 2009 to 2013 and identifying the contents and contents of the issues dealt with in the programmer paragraphs on Arab events during the study period; Monitoring the trajectories of proof and actors, on which the programmer relied to demonstrate the authenticity of its theses towards the image of the Arab personality. The study used the survey method in both descriptive and analytical terms, and the researcher conducted a survey to select the programmer from several foreign programmers.
The study reached several results, the most important of which are:
- PBS News Channel based the sample study through its program "Charlie Rose" on the theory of media frameworks، in choosing the type of issues and topics addressed، by paying attention to current issues that affect the interest and wishes of citizens and viewers of the talk show.
- The specimen of the study relied on the theory of media frameworks in political issues in the way they raised the topics. In most of its topics, the channel merely presented information and perspectives and then added appropriate solutions, meaning that the channel tried to adhere to the principle of free discussion of topics and make them limited.
- The study revealed that pivotal figures at the forefront of the talk show are official bodies and then political analysts, due to what various political platforms seek to shed light on the different perspectives of participants
