Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the extent to which the Egyptian public uses short video applications through social networking sites and its relationship to their social liberation, by revealing the extent of the Egyptian public's use of short video applications through social networking sites, and to identify the level of the Egyptian public's attitude towards social liberation. To descriptive studies, and within its framework, the researcher used the survey method, and in that questionnaire was used as a tool to collect the required data. The study was applied to a random sample of (767) individuals from the Egyptian public. It also found that there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the respondents on a measure of the level of effects of using short video applications through social networking sites, according to the different levels of using short video applications through social networking sites. The degree of respondents' expectation of the ability to influence the use of short video applications through social networking sites on others (third person) was found to be different according to the degree of use of interactive means available through video applications.
