Educational media specialist and Employment extent for digital media education skills in facing the dangers of fifth generation war

Abstract

In this study, the researcher followed the descriptive approach to determine the extent to which the educational media specialist employs the skills of digital media education in facing the dangers of fifth generation wars, and then comes up with a proposed vision to activate this role. The study sample included 120 individual educational media specialists in the schools of my administration (Zarqa). - Al-Saru) in the Directorate of Education in Damietta, and they were chosen randomly from the study population consisting of all educational media specialists in the ten educational departments in Damietta Governorate, numbering 1450 educational media specialists. The study used the questionnaire form, and the study reached a set of results, the most important of which are:
- The most important digital media education skills to confront the fifth generation wars came as follows: - In the first: with a percentage of (82%) came the skill of producing digital media content and publishing it on the school’s website, while in the second: with a percentage of (81.33%) came The skill of applying social responsibility, and came in the third: with a rate of (78.67%), the skill of analysis and evaluation of digital media messages came, and in the fourth, with a rate of (74.67%), came the skill of confronting the risks posed by digital media, and in the fifth, with a rate of (70.33). %) The skill of accessing and dealing with applications and digital media messages.
- The most important risks of fifth generation wars related to students in our schools are as follows: - In the first: with a percentage of (90.67%), educational and cultural risks came, while in the second: with a percentage of (88%), political and economic risks came. In the third: with a rate of (87.67%) came religious and intellectual risks, in the fourth with a rate of (84.67%) came the social and psychological risks, and in the fifth with a rate of (83.67%) came the risks related to higher human values.
It was also reached: A suggested vision for developing the capabilities of the educational media specialist in using digital media education skills in our schools to confront the dangers of fifth generation wars, in order to fortify, empower and prepare students with the necessary skills to deal consciously with digital media.
