Ethics of producing live broadcast videos Via Social Media platforms As adolescents' perception and its relationship to their self-esteem

Abstract

The current descriptive study aimed to monitor the extent to which adolescents use social media platforms and their follow-up to live broadcast videos, and to reveal the relationship of their awareness of the ethics of producing live broadcast videos through these platforms and their self-esteem, The study employed the survey method by applying the electronic questionnaire tool to a deliberate sample of 300 adolescents, followers and producers of those videos.
The results of the study revealed that Facebook topped the list of social platforms that adolescents prefer to use, and these platforms gained great importance in the appreciation of the majority of them, as well as the high degree of awareness of the ethics of producing live broadcast videos on social platforms in the three dimensions of the scale: (attention, awareness and understanding, Application). The results of the research hypotheses test showed that there is a correlation between the intensity of social media use and the degree of follow-up of live broadcast videos on social platforms and adolescents' self-esteem on the other hand
