Employing the contact person for the metaverse technology in journalistic work inside the news studio in the Egyptian newspapers

The current study aimed at identifying the characteristics of the new functionalism process for the Metaverse technology in journalistic work within the news studios in one of the private Egyptian newspapers (Al-Watan newspaper), in order to identify the features and characteristics of this functionalism process as one of the new mechanisms that affected the form of the entire communication process, which produced a new vision in Methods of presenting the news content by activating the mechanisms of the new communication technology, and to achieve this, an in-depth interview guide was designed to be applied with the communicator person who created this innovative functionalism of that technology, as well as a focused group  discussion guide to be applied to five groups of the communicators, who used the Metaverse technology in their journalistic work, by 30 journalists in Al-Watan newspaper, and the study relied in its theoretical framework on the Technology Acceptance Model, and the study concluded in its most important results that the communication process under the functionalism of the Metaverse technology, will be characterized by more interaction between the communicator and the audience, in addition to that the form of the press news may be determined In videography, 360-degree reports, as well as the virtual studio, and that the media audience will quickly integrate with the data of this new mechanism, given that it will enable them to fully engage in the details of the press release, and that the matter will require intensive training for journalists, in addition to making amendments to the regulations and legislation of journalistic work, In addition, the Metaverse press will take a different practical path than it was in the digital press, in addition to that it is expected that it will constitute new follow-up features for the public due to the data of this new communication environment.
