Use of Multimedia and Artificial Intelligence in Egyptian News Websites and Their Role in Content Optimization

Abstract

The news websites have evolved greatly over the past decade, to the extent that they now combine all media arts, and even increase them by using advanced technologies and harnessing them in an unprecedented manner. Currently, the "Multimedia" plays a major role in the interpretation and analysis of information and data, in order to achieve understanding and perception of information. In addition to its exploitation of programming techniques and artificial intelligence in the authoring, merging and publishing of materials in an almost complete digital way, through the use of applications such as the chat robot "ChatGPT".
As specialists point out, a combination of two or more elements of text, image, sound, video, animation, and computer software can be used in multimedia, which helps to present messages well and improve the form of information and the way it is understood by the recipient. In addition, search engine optimization strategies have surfaced, which ensure that the press topic ranks better on Google and other engines, thus enhancing its chances of reaching more users.
From this standpoint, this research attempts to identify the use of multimedia and artificial intelligence techniques in Egyptian news websites, by studying an analytical sample consisting of 274 news from Cairo 24, Al-Youm Al-Sabea and Al-Masry Al-Youm websites, to find out the latest findings of Egyptian news websites in the use of this software and the development of A future vision for its development, in line with the global uses of the latest news website development programs.
