Abstract

The research aimed to identify the professional competencies of digital media content creators (Influencers) and its relationship to their credibility with the Egyptian public by developing a list of the professional competencies of content makers through a qualitative descriptive study using the media survey method and tools: the interview on a sample of (37) experts in the media field (practitioners / academics / content creators) to prepare a list of professional competencies for content creators and the questionnaire on a sample of (520) of the Egyptian public distributed in the governorates (Minya / Cairo / Alexandria) and a credibility scale to monitor the degree of credibility of content creators with the public, The research found that: the need for a number of professional competencies among digital media content makers through social networks to achieve credibility with the public, with a statistically significant relationship between the professional competencies of content creators and their credibility with the public.
