The efficiency of facebook tourism pages in promoting tourism destinations in Egypt

Abstract

this study aims to determine the efficiency of facebook - official and non official pages - in promoting  tourism destinations in Egypt , by using content analysis method to analyze 400 posts that have been published on 4 pages - ministry of tourism page , experience Egypt page - basant nur el deen page and heba raaof page. , the results indicate that the main purpose of the posts that have been published on the official pages was increasing the outcome of tourism in Egypt while the main purpose of the influencers pages was encouraging tourists to have fun and new experiences in Egypt.
