Basic Education Students' Practice of Educational Media Activities and their Relationship to their Mindfulness:

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to measure the relationship between basic education students' practice of educational media activities and their mental alertness. And revealing the possibility of predicting mental alertness through their practice of educational media activities, and the most prominent activities that students prefer to practice, through a descriptive study based on the field survey method for a field sample of (211) male and female students from the primary and preparatory stages who practice educational media activities. questionnaire, and a measure of "mental alertness", and the results of the research r:

The largest proportion of the research sample at 46.4% practice educational media activities on a permanent basis, and (school radio) topped the ranking of activities practiced by students by 75.8%, then (school journalism).
The high level of mental alertness among the research sample in the light of their practice of educational media activities, at the level of the dimensions and the overall degree of the scale.
The results of the research proved the existence of a direct, statistically significant correlation between the basic education students' practice of educational media activities and their mental alertness. It was also proven that there was a direct, statistically significant correlation between the basic education students' practice of educational media activities and the improvement of their mental abilities.
It has not been proven that there are statistically significant differences between basic education students in the research sample in their average degrees of mental alertness according to the variables (gender, educational stage, grade).
The results also proved that the practice of educational media activities contributes positively to predicting the level of mental alertness of students in the future; This means that it is possible to rely on the practice of these activities and predict their role and contribution to improving the level of mental alertness of students in the future without the need to re-measure their mental alertness again.
