The role of digital media in providing the public with security information and shaping Kuwaiti public opinion

Abstract

The problem of the study was to reveal the effects of digital media in shaping the attitudes of the Kuwaiti public towards security information. Special security for Kuwaiti affairs, and the ritualistic motives of the study sample increased with a weight of 89.2 degrees compared to the utilitarian motives with a weight of 84 degrees for following up on digital media, and it was proven that there was a statistically significant correlation between the motives of exposure of the study sample to digital media and digital applications that provide security information specific to Kuwaiti affairs And the effects achieved by monitoring security information on Kuwaiti digital media in Kuwaiti public opinion; It was also proven that there were significant differences between the study sample in terms of forms of interaction with security information provided by pages specialized in security matters through the digital media of Kuwaiti society, according to gender, age, educational and socio-economic level.
