Abstract

The study has aimed to examine the Egyptian government communication objectives in the field of digital transformation, its aspects and provided services. Also it has aimed to test the interaction of media outlets users with the published media content. It has used the content analysis tool applying to the platform's official pages on Facebook and Twitter.
The study have assured that Facebook is the most employed by the digital Egypt platform compared to Twitter, due to the Facebook high number of users in Egypt compared to other social networking sites. In order to deliver its messages, the platform employs Facebook and Twitter texts, images and videos; it uses the hashtags to add privacy and importance to the published content. It presents many types of posts; the awareness-raising posts have come at first, followed by the intimation posts, then the congratulations ones.
Egypt’s digital platform provides many services, such as signing power of attorney form, obtaining birth and death certificates, issuing national number cards, knowing about traffic citation payments, making procedures related to litigation, renewing drivers and cars licenses, as well as inquiring about social insurance services.
However, the awareness aspect is added to these services, so some posts are free from specific services. Many work sectors have undergone the digital transformation including the offices of land registry, social insurance, civil register and traffic, in addition to the ministries of supply and communications, as well as the prosecutions and courts. Also, the posts of providing services digitally assured many advantages such as facility, speed, high quality, door-to-door delivery, and security.
There is a high level of interactivity with the published content on the digital Egypt platform; it has been shown in the increase of the number of likes, video views, comments, and shares. Most of the comments have been inquiries from users, followed by thanks and support to the platform's administrators, then providing answers to other users' questions, and then requesting certain services. The admin responses has been represented in thanking the audience, apologizing to them in some cases, and answering their inquiries.
