Abstract

 This research aims to identify the factors affecting the purchasing intention of green cosmetics among Egyptian women This was done by examining three variables (the attitude towards cosmetics personal criteria and awareness of sustainable development) and their impact on the purchasing intention of Egyptian women for green cosmetics.
A survey was conducted using a questionnaire and collected data from 227 Egyptian women.
The main findings are:-

The factors related to green cosmetics significantly (α 0.05 ≥ ) affect the intention of Egyptian women to purchase green cosmetics, and the most influential factor was personal criteria.
There are statistically significant differences between the purchasing intention of the Egyptian woman for green cosmetics according to demographic variables represented by age - Occupation - educational level, while there are no statistically significant differences between the purchasing intention of the Egyptian woman for green cosmetics according to the income and health consciousness, thus the hypothesis partially accepted.
