The dependence of university youth on talk shows on satellite channels and their role in raising awareness of the danger of terrorism

The concept of terrorism has become one of the concepts that have witnessed increasing interest by the various media outlets with different orientations and ideologies, due to the various terrorist acts that destabilize security and stability and spread terror and fear in the hearts of individuals because they cause many victims and innocent people to fall as a result of these actions.
There is no doubt that the media's handling of terrorism issues in talk shows provides an important content, as it contributes to raising public awareness of this issue, whether by knowing the events or providing explanations for this strange phenomenon to the Egyptian people.
This study falls under the so-called descriptive studies. The most important reasons for the study sample’s keenness to follow up on terrorist issues focused on targeting army and police personnel, identifying the topics of events and terrorist topics and their dimensions, and the most important reasons for the outbreak of violence and terrorism, the misunderstanding of religion and jihad, incitement by terrorist groups, the weakness of religious faith, and the most important reasons that make talk shows play Role in spreading awareness and raising awareness of the issues.
