Abstract

The study aimed to identify how the Egyptian government employs its digital platforms to achieve sustainable development goals in rural villages by applying to a decent life initiative. The sample of the analytical study consisted of 186 publications from the official pages of the Prime Ministry, the Ministry of Local Development, and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development. Through the content analysis form, the results reached:

The study emphasized the importance of employing social networking sites to achieve development goals in the villages, as it has become one of the most important mass media, which is characterized by interactiveness and speed in transmitting events.
The presentation of the results of the Dignified Life Initiative came at the forefront of the topics related to the development plan in Egyptian villages by 45.2%, followed by meetings between officials by 26.3%, and then officials' visits to development projects by 17.2%.
"Implementation of housing projects for the affected groups" came at the top of the list of topics covered by the ministries' publications on their Facebook pages, where it came at 38.7%, followed by "Caring for people with special needs" at 23.7%, then "Caring for infrastructure and gas delivery for villages" by 21.5 %.
