Abstract

This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of an infographic-based program for developing new media ethics among media students and its relationship to their media message production skills. In the development of new media ethics, and another measure to measure the ethics of new media among students of the new media, the study sample. The study followed the system or approach of the experimental and control groups after making sure that the two groups were equal using statistical coefficients. The study tools were applied in the second semester of the academic year 2021-2022 AD, and the experimental treatment was used represented by an infographic program that includes the ethics and skills of producing media messages through new media. The study found a group of M n results, the most important of which are:
- There are statistically significant differences between males and females in the post application scores in the cognitive achievement test for the skills of producing media messages, where the value of (T) = (0.135) came at a level of significance (0.027), i.e. less than (0.05); This indicates that there are statistically significant differences in favor of females.
- There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental research group students in the pre and post measurements of the scale of developing media message production skills, in favor of the post application.
- The value of “t” in the achievement test for teaching in the infographics method in the experimental group = (1.761) with a significance level (0.042), which is less than a significance level (0.05), meaning that the “t” value is statistically significant; Which proves that there are differences in favor of the dimensional application in the experimental group due to the infographic method of teaching.
