Employing the pages of private and governmental Egyptian television institutions for digital technologies in developing the form and content of the television media message

Abstract

The communications technology revolution has contributed to the creation of a new media style whose concept, characteristics, characteristics and means differ from the traditional media style. The successive developments of the Internet and its multiplicity of generations have contributed to changing the concept of the media industry.
The information revolution that the world is experiencing now has brought about a huge boom in the media industry and patterns of information consumption, production, dissemination and sharing. In its contents, the forms of digital media varied between media sites on the Internet, electronic press, radio and electronic television, and the above includes live broadcasting services for television and radio channels on the Internet through radio broadcast packages, commercial advertisements on websites, blogs, And the use of smart phones in television broadcasting, and other different and diverse areas in which Internet sites abound.
 Thus, the study’s problem is identified in identifying the nature of digital technologies employed by the Egyptian private and governmental television institutions’ pages on social networking sites, as well as their websites, with the aim of developing the form and content of the television message published through it and achieving greater penetration rates among its audience.
The study relied on the theory of technology acceptance and transformational leadership. The study is also descriptive and analytical for the pages of private and governmental Egyptian TV channels on social networking sites, and focuses on their use of digital technologies in presenting the television media message to the public.
The study turned out that the TV media institutions were not far from the technological developments and what they imposed of a new communication environment that emerged and its features emerged in various fields within the TV institution, whether at the level of pure management or at the level of the form or content of TV content, or the necessity of adopting these channels other technological platforms to communicate with their audience Such as websites, pages through social networking sites, and phone applications, whether creating a special application for the channel to introduce the audience to its services or to interact, or use the WhatsApp application to send messages to the public, so some channels turned to the presence of a team specialized in television production specific to social networking sites and allocating budgets for this.
