The Role and Responsibility of the Libyan Press in the Chance of Citizenship Values" Al Raqib newspaper as a Model

Citizenship issues are considered one of the most important issues that get special attention from societies, especially in the present time where homelands are going through civil wars, which affect the homeland as well as the citizen, hence the importance of selection and focusing on the citizenship issues is being stemmed.
For this reason, it was decided to study the Al-Raqeeb newspaper as it kept pace with the events since its inception through its published topics on its pages, the trends of those topics, their sources, and the used grooming.
Therefore, the study seeks to know (the role of the Libyan press and its responsibility in promoting citizenship values)

The purpose of the study

1. Write about the issues of citizenship in the conducted newspaper
2. Identify ways to address the promotion of citizenship issues

Data collection tools
The research was based on the content analysis model, and I analyzed the Al-Raqib newspaper from its inception in February 2011 AD until 2014 AD, the date of the electoral due.
Data results
Freedom of opinion and expression was ranked first among citizenship issues, and the news was ranked first among journalistic patterns. The results also indicated the existence of correlational relationships between the variables of the study. The researcher has recommended the necessity of professional and academic qualifications for all workers in the field of media and journalism
