The Egyptian public's view of the role of electronic newspapers to strengthen the process of political Reform

Abstract

The study sought to measure the extent to which the Egyptian public's recognition of the role of  electronic newspapers in strengthening the process of political reform and recognizing its commitment to its social and political responsibility towards the process of political reform from the Egyptian public point of view. It was collected through the Google Form tool from December 15, 2021 to January 31, 2022, and the researcher chose this specific period, where the World Youth Forum will be held in the presence of President Sisi and Egyptian and international political leaders, which is one of the political reform projects, The social responsibility of Egyptian e-newspapers has been developed in the development of social relations that support national unity, while the political responsibility of Egyptian e-newspapers lies in enlightenment is the importance of its role in society. There are statistically significant differences between the respondents according to the average degrees of follow-up of electronic newspapers to obtain information on political reform, and between gender and age groups.
