Structural and human capital in the sport and social clubs and its relationship with their members' trust

Abstract

The study attempted to understand and explain the relationship between human capital management policies and strategies in clubs, and the extent of the impact of these systems and administrative processes that reflect the efficiency/failure of the institutional structure on the members’ confidence, and their sense of commitment and satisfaction with the services and competitive advantages provided to them.
The study relied on the flat-field survey method; Applying to a sample of the Egyptian public, members of various sports and social clubs.
The study was applied to a deliberate sample of (282 respondents) of members of various sports and social clubs; Depending on the type of ownership of the club, or the governmental, private or syndicate to which it is affiliated.
The results of the study concluded that there is a direct correlation between the respondents' perception of the efficiency of both structural capital and human capital in their favorite clubs, and all indicators of their confidence in these clubs. The item "Respondents' keenness to participate in the voluntary work of the club" comes in the last rank.
The results also revealed that the component “compliance with the club’s regulations and rules” came to the fore in the respondents’ attitudes towards the “commitment” indicator, while the “candidacy for administrative and leadership positions to serve and advance the club” came in the last rank. The respondents’ feeling of pride and pride in their membership in their favorite clubs; As the most indicative of the index of their emotional attachment to the club they belong to, the item "purchasing club products and promotional materials such as T-shirts, posters, flags...etc" came in the last order.
The study then presented a number of recommendations about the clubs' keenness to develop their infrastructure; In order to be able to meet the needs and expectations of members, in addition to directing the growing interest in the infrastructure of people of determination, as well as the need for coordination between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and government clubs; In order to allocate appropriate membership and subscription opportunities for different segments of society; From students to the elderly; With the aim of absorbing these forces and huge human resources; And clubs to play their rational roles in socialization, instilling positive values ​​and meanings.
