Global trends in web design research

This study seeks to identify global trends in news web design research, and it belongs to critical analytical descriptive studies, and depends on the second-level analysis method, Meta-Analysis, based on the qualitative critical analysis method, to analyze a sample of published and unpublished research and theses in the field of web editing. The news, published in the period 2013: 2022, amounted to about 137 studies.
It concluded that the recent global research trends in the field of web design were as follows:
The first trend: the interactive design of the main pages and its relationship to the visual identity of the sites.
The second research direction: design and production of new forms in digital journalism (design and production of data journalism, design of multimedia journalism, design of news websites on mobile phone applications).
The third research direction: web design and its relationship to readability and ease of use.
The fourth research direction: the quality and efficiency of websites.
