Educational program based on infographic technology and cooperative learning strategy to develop the cognitive and skill aspects of educational media among students in the training field:

Abstract

This study aimed at revealing “the effectiveness of a proposed educational program based on info graphic technology and cooperative learning strategy in developing the cognitive and skill aspects of educational media students in journalism and school broadcasting subjects in the training fields”, by applying them to the study sample, consisting of (50) male and female, of educational media students, specializing in journalism in third grade at the Faculty of Specific Education, Tanta University. The study used the “semi-experimental approach”, “comparative approach” and relied on the info graphic technique and the “cooperative learning” strategy, in addition to several other strategies, such as “effective presentation - feedback” - Students’ self-assessment”, to achieve the objectives of the study and to train students on the cognitive and skill aspects of journalism and school broadcasting.
 The study tools were represented in the “suggested educational program,” “achievement test,” and “scale of school journalism and radio skills – a measure of the trend towards program effectiveness.”
The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: “The proposed training program prepared by the researcher is effective in introducing students to the concept of journalism and broadcasting as a teacher. There were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students of the two groups "experimental - control" in the tribal application on the achievement test and the scale of school journalism and radio skills and their different dimensions, while there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the two groups "experimental - control", regarding the  “pre-post application of the achievement test” and the school radio and journalism skills scale and their different dimensions in favor of the experimental group.
There were statistically significant differences found between the mean scores of the experimental group students in the two “pre-post” applications of the achievement test and the school radio and journalism skills scale and their different dimensions in favor of the post application.
